Martin Buser into McGrath

Good Morning from McGrath. Got up from a REAL good sleep in Rick’s cabin. Just as I arrived back at the checkpoint the checkers were yelling” team on the river “. I hardly had time to grab my camera, as that team was moving a bit quicker than most others. The Buser Bullets are back on the trail and they are chewing it up fast. Martin declared that he just wanted to stay for 10 minutes, steered his full string of 16 dogs skillfully around the building. That is not an easy feat on this super hard-packed surface.  They look at times like a gigantic fan hitch, with Martin not running necklines, but he sure has them under control. He plans on leaving with 15 dogs after watering them here. Looking at the daytime hour, if he wants to avoid the ” heat of the day “, he might try to push all the way to Ophir.

Sorry for the blurry photos, it was still quite dark out and me not quite awake……
