The Berington Twins 28th and 29th in Nome

Anna and Kristy Berington traveled much of Iditarod 43 together. It is no surprise that they arrived in the finish chute pretty much at the same time.  Kristy loaded a dog a few miles out, that made for the difference. Both talked about how diligent they had to be as mushers, during the cold temperatures, to make sure their teams stay healthy. Both of their teams looked great in the finish chute and were barking to go when the gate opened towards the dog lot.

There were suspiciously many guys at the finish line tonight. Strange how that happens when two good looking women finish. Tim joked: ” If I were ever be at the finish line, I would probably have to buy off some friends to show up”.  Good night from Nome!
