03/20/2007 2007 Iditarod Raffle Prize Winners
The 2007 Red Lantern Banquet has been moved to Wednesday, 3/21. Banquet is open to the public and will be held at the Mini Convention Center in Nome at 6:30pm.
AAFES, a dog from the team of G.B. Jones (Bib #82), was found at Rohn Roadhouse late yesterday afternoon. He had been missing for over a week. AAFES slipped from his harness on March 8th after Jones took the wrong trail through Ptarmigan Pass. Jones scratched from
the race on March 8th in order to begin searching for AAFES. Concerned fans will be happy to hear that AAFES was found alive and well and, according to the latest report, is in the process of being airlifted to Anchorage.
