IDITAROD XXXVI MUSHER Tom Roig, (Bib #94) made the decision to scratch at 7:20 this morning, (March 04, 2008) at Finger Lake Checkpoint in the Alaska Range. The 57 year old rookie musher from Shreve Ohio scratched citing health issues with himself and his team.
The Finger Lake Checkpoint is situated near the steps of the Happy River approximately 918 miles away from the finish line on Front Street in Nome Alaska.
