IDITAROD AIR FORCE PLANE CRASH LANDS NEAR WHITE MOUNTAIN

NOME, ALASKA - (March 11, 2008)

At approximately 10 am (Tuesday March 11) an Iditarod Air Force Pilot and two passengers crash landed approximately 16 miles from White Mountain. 

The two passengers were transported to Nome for evaluation and released earlier this afternoon.  The pilot was unhurt.

All parties are thankful that they were able to walk away from the incident.
