NOME, ALASKA - (March 17, 2008)
IDITAROD XXXVI MUSHER Molly Yazwinski, (Bib #62) scratched at 8:00 am (March 17, 2008) in White Mountain Checkpoint. The 26 year old rookie musher from Fairbanks Alaska left White Mountain in hopes of reaching Nome late this afternoon. She returned to White Mountain at 8 am and scratched citing concerns over the health of her team. Yazwinski had 9 dogs on her team when she scratched.
