Iditarod Musher Profile

Rick Swenson, 58, was born in Minnesota. He moved to Alaska in 1973 to mush dogs. He is the only five-time winner of the Iditarod. He belongs to Mush with P.R.I.D.E., the Iditarod where he serves on the Board of Directors, and the Alaska Miners. Rick is the father of three, Kristen, Andy and Kevin.
