Annie Kelley passes a puppy to Heidi Sloan, 2018 Iditarod Teacher on the Trail™

Hello friends,

BowWow! There are a LOT of teachers here at Iditarod Headquarters today. They are here enjoying the Volunteer Picnic and Musher sign-up. Teachers have been busy all week at the Summer Camp for Educators. I’ve seen them learning new Math and Science lessons to take to the classroom in the fall. Some of my musher friends have also joined them including Cindy Abbot and DeeDee Jonrowe. Our 2017 Teacher on the Trail is here to pass the dog bone to the 2018 TOTT Heidi Sloan. Teachers – don’t miss out next year on some exciting opportunities. There is the Iditarod Winter Conference that will be coming up before the 2018 Iditarod and, of course, the 2018 Summer Camp. We’d love to have you join us on one of these adventures!
