Mushers are also talking about how slow the trail has been up to this point, and speculation about the mushers that have pushed to Iditarod for their 24 hour rest. The consensus seems to be that Nic Petit and Joar Leifseth Ulsom seem to have the teams to beat, but it could still be anybody’s game at this point with a couple more storms poised to hit the teams before they reach the finish line in Nome.
