Shuttle Bus Restart Information

WillowRead the Press Release listing information on taking shuttle buses to the Restart.

Restart at Willow Lake, March 6, 2 p.m.

Anchorage Lakefront Hotel, formerly the Millennium–buses depart 3 times the morning of the restart, March 6, at 8:00 for volunteers only, at 9:30 for spectators and volunteers, and at 11:00 for spectators. Buses return from Willow to Anchorage at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for spectators and $10 for volunteers. Volunteers should buy their tickets at volunteer registration.Volunteers can take a 9:00 a.m. bus from the Curtis D. Menard Sports Center, also. Spectators may buy tickets at the Volunteer Registration desk at the Lakefront Hotel.

Wasilla High School— buses run at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:15, 12:30, 12:45, & 1:00 p.m.

Curtis D. Menard Sports Center— buses run at 11:00, 11:30, & 12:00.

Houston High School– buses run at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, & 12:30.

Buses return from Willow to Wasilla at 4:00, 5:00, & 6:00.

Talkeetna Sunshine Station— buses depart at 11:00 and 12:00 and return to Talkeetna at 4:00 & 6:00.

Tickets are $2 for adults, cash only, and children under age 12 are free. Spectators can buy tickets on site for the Wasilla, Houston, and Talkeetna shuttles.

For  those  choosing  to  travel  to  Willow  in  personal  vehicles,  please  note  that  a  limited  amount  of public  parking  will  be  available  and  there  will  be  a  $10  charge  per  vehicle  for  parking.  On  race day,  look  for  electronic  sign  boards  located  on  the  Parks  Highway  in  Wasilla  and  at  Houston  High School  advising  current  information  on  parking  availability  in  Willow.
