Sled Dog Ed

Hi, Teachers!

Need a quick activity to break up the day! Here is one, “Roll a Topic“.  You can use this to get your students talking and sharing about the Iditarod. Put students in groups of two or three and provide them with a die.  Each student will take turns rolling the die. The number rolled will determine which discussion prompt the student must share about or answer.  The document I have provided can be projected on a screen or individually copied for each group.  

Create your own additional discussion prompts to extend this activity in future sessions or as an activity to be placed in a learning center.
