Answer to this mornings Question: The Red Lantern Winner Award is given to the the team who is the last one to arrive in Nome. A lantern is lit when the race starts in Anchorage and isn’t put out until this team arrives. Can you find out why this happens- what is the history behind the Red Lantern?
QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is the difference between Scratched and Withdrawn from the race?
Check back tonight for another update. I think by then be may be seeing the teams starting or getting ready to start their 8 hour mandatory rest in White Mountain. Could we have a winner tomorrow? We’ll see.
Until later,
Gypsy
