QUESTION OF THE DAY: Kelly Maxiner is currently racing in first place. But he may not really be in first place- Why not? Answer tomorrow morning.
Answer to this mornings question: Did you see what time this update was written? What time is 00:51.
The Iditarod using 24 hour time commonly called Military time. This time is used when it is important to know when it is morning or night. If I told you a musher came in at 8:00, you wouldn’t know if that was am or pm unless I remember to tell you. With 24 time there is no question about what time it is. 00:00-12:00 is am and 12:01-24:00 is pm. So 00:51 is 12:51 in the morning. Maybe your teacher or parent can help you make a time chart.
FAN QUESTION: This is where I’ll answer your questions- so ask away!!!!
I’m getting so excited. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Who do you think will be in the lead when we wake up in the morning?
Until morning,
Gypsy
