The next 21 teams have left Ophir. 7 teams are in Ophir, 2 teams have left Takotna, 3 teams are in Takotna, 2 teams have left McGrath, 9 teams are in McGrath, and 1 team is in Nikolai.

WEATHER: The weather in Cripple and Ruby is 5 degrees and cloudy. The weather along the trail from Nikolai to Ophir is 7 degrees and partly cloudy.

Answer to today’s question: There are 2 mandatory rests other than the 24 hour. Do you know where they must be taken and how long they are?
There will be two more mandatory stops. Both are eight hour stops. One must be taken on the Yukon River and one must be taken at White Mountain. Important- none of the mandatory rests may be combined.
