Jeff King had moved his dogs off the straw a little early. He kept on moving them 20 yards at a time to limber them up and to have them relieve themselves. That makes the team start much better, when it is time to go. Jeff is fully in race mode, wanting to waste no time, but with having won 4 times before also being very conscious about his media responsibilities. He gave us photographers a nice show and plenty of opportunity to take pictures. Much appreciated. His lead dogs are a mother and son pair, whose name I forgot in the half a mile ride up to the school.
