Jason Campeau scratches at White Mountain checkpoint

Veteran Iditarod musher Jason Campeau (bib #19) of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada scratched at 12:15 p.m. today at the White Mountain checkpoint. Campeau made the decision to scratch in the best interest of the team’s welfare. Campeau had nine dogs in harness at the time he made the decision to scratch.
