Going with the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words, here are some photos of the seven mushers and their teams from the start of the Jr. Iditarod. These outstanding young mushers deserve congratulations for their skills, love of nature, love for being in the out-of-doors, love of adventure, love of dogs, perseverance and skill in caring for the magnificent canine athletes.
