Thank you for your interest in covering Iditarod XLVIII as a member of the working media. “Working Media” is defined as full-time, paid employees or representatives/agents of professionally recognized media organizations including but not limited to: newspapers, radio, magazines, film production crews, major wire services, television stations, websites and other approved online mediums.
Please read the 2020 media credential guidelines to be sure you are eligible before applying.
To apply for credentials, a “working media” member must fill out the form in its entirety.
Please do not submit multiple requests. If you are uncertain a request has been submitted please contact the media coordinator listed below. If you are a freelance journalist, you must be on assignment from a media outlet. A freelance journalist/photographer cannot request accreditation on behalf of another organization. Photographers must also be on assignment.
Specialty/commercial photography, portfolio photography, and personal website photography are NOT valid assignments.
Requests for accreditation will only be considered if submitted via this official online process with the online application form completed accordingly. Application requests sent by email will not be accepted. Walk-in requests will also not be accepted.
ONLY working editorial media on assignment will be considered for credentials.
The deadline for application is Feb. 21, 2020.
