The next team in here in Cripple is Ken Anderson. Ken is driving a huge long sled, almost 17 feet long. Caboose and all. Ken, same as Brent, is very athletic.

Where Brent is using one ski pole and kicking with one foot, Ken is firmly standing on both runners and double ski poling, rhythmic with both poles going at the same time. His dogs kept on barking at me when they passed. As opposed to Brent, Ken is pulling over to camp. The sun is coming out and it’s warming up. Perfect time to stop. I am sure Brent’s tracker will stop soon too. Ken to this point has the fastest runtime over from Takotna with 9 hrs 16 minutes.
