Nicolas Peitit yelled over ” Aren’t they beautiful ? ” Nicolas seems very pleased with his team and he has every reason to. Indeed they look beautiful. The trail is also a bit more set up than yesterday. That is an advantage, of not running right out front. Nicolas pulled into the short term parking lot, meaning he is going to stay for a couple of hours, same as Ken Anderson. He also has a very fast runtime of 9 hrs 29 minutes. 

Meeting the team on the trail, I get to see how they move. There are very distinct differences. Yesterday each and every team was trotting. This morning Brent’s team was pretty much all trotting too. He had one dog in there I saw loping. Ken Anderson had a mixture, some trotting, some loping. Nicolas’ team was distinctly different, the majority of the dogs loping away.
