Where as Dallas Seavey only spend 2 minutes in Elim, both Brent Sass and Mitch Seavey were 8 minutes here. Time will tell if those 6 minutes will make a difference. For Mitch, that could have an impact. He has been traveling faster than Brent and is having a few more dogs than Dallas. Looking at the teams appearance. Dallas’s team was the most animated and Dallas himself was the most on fire. Brent was visibly tired, his dogs looked good, but were not near as animated as Dallas’s. Mitch seemed more on a quite mission, not jogging along as Dallas, but very determined with every move. His dogs had more pep in the step than Brent’s. There is a 3.5 mile difference, 30 minutes between 1st and 3rd place after 845 miles of racing!
Dallas Seavey IN at 4.09 out at 4.11
Brent Sass IN at 4.29 out at 4.37
Mitch Seavey IN at 4.32 out at 4.40.
46 Miles to go to WHITE MOUNTAIN. The trail is going over the ice, NOT up the hill as the GPS maps shows. The teams are not off trail!
