Wade Marrs wanted to leave before Pete Kaiser got here to Elim. And he timed it just right. We were worried about having a headon pass down the road, and Pete’s team potentially following Wade’s team on the outbound trail. That did not happen, Pete showed up 3 minutes later. His team is on fire. Barking and roaring to go. I am surprised to see him pull over here. I wonder if he had seen Wade, if he would have given chase right away. Pete is staying for about 1 hr. He feels he can get that time back, with running here an hour faster than Wade.

Update, now Pete has left at 13.03 wit 11 dogs, dropping one dog
