“Here Comes the Bride”

As Noah Burmeister and his Idita-rider, Natalie Miller, mushed the eleven-mile Ceremonial Start trail, the background music could have been “Here Comes the Bride.” Miller and Burmeister met last year through Iditarod when Natalie and her mother were Idita-riders. Mom rode with Noah and Natalie rode with another musher. Natalie and Noah were recently married in Maui. Congratulations and best wishes for a long happy life together. The couple’s fathers presented the flowers carried by Natalie in this photo at the start line as a welcome to the family gesture.
