How do I enter?
To enter the Iditarod Trifecta you must submit a completed entry form and pay the entry fee by 1 p.m. on March 8, 2020. Completed entry forms can be emailed to trifecta@iditarod.com, or faxed to 907-373-6998, or mailed to the Iditarod Trail Committee at 2100 S. Knik-Goose Bay Rd, Wasilla, AK 99654. (Entries mailed must be received by the Iditarod Trail Committee office and paid for by Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m.) Entries are also available to be purchased in person at the Iditarod Trail Committee office in Wasilla, Iditarod Musher Banquet on March 5, Lakefront Hotel lobby during race week, Iditarod Start next to the merchandise tent at 4th and E street, and Iditarod Restart in Willow at the community center building. Location times vary.
How do I pay for my entry?
Pay for your entry in person with cash, with a credit card by phone call 907-841-0947, or mail a check payable to Iditarod Trail Committee, Inc. to 2100 S. Knik-Goose Bay Rd, Wasilla, AK, 99654. (Entries mailed must be received by the Iditarod Trail Committee office and paid for by Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m.) Your entry has not been completed until you have payed and all sales are final.
Can I purchase entries on race day?
Yes, entries can be purchased on race day online or in person at the Iditarod Trail Committee office in Wasilla, Lakefront Hotel lobby during race week, Iditarod Start next to the merch tent at 4th and E street, and Iditarod Restart in Willow at the community center building. Location times vary.
Can I change my entry once submitted and paid for?
No, all entries and sales are final. You may submit and pay for an additional entry with different picks.
Can I enter more than once and pick a different winning musher, finish time, and number of dogs?
Yes, each entry costs $10. There is no limit to the number of entries an individual can submit.
Why are there four entry spaces on one entry form?
Four entry spaces are available on one form for individuals who would like to submit more than one guess. If an individual would like to submit more than four guesses, they would use multiple entry forms.
How much money will I win?
Winnings depend on number of entries. 40 percent of the prize pool goes to the Trifecta winner, 40% of the prize pool goes to Iditarod and 20% of the prize pool goes to the top twenty finishing mushers.
What happens if the musher I picked drops out before the race starts?
All entry picks are final and are not permitted to change.
How many dogs can a musher cross the finish line with?
The maximum number of dogs a musher may start the race with is fourteen (14) dogs. A musher must have at least twelve (12) dogs on the line to start the race. At least five (5) dogs must be on the towline at the finish line.

The form does not constitute an entry until payment has been completed. All entry sales are final. The Iditarod Trifecta is a game of chance and you must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Employees and their immediate family, board members, and mushers competing in the Iditarod are not eligible to win.
