The Insider Team has been hard at work at making this the best Iditarod experience yet. We’ve redesigned the site but we’ve also added some cool new features. We’re really excited to introduce “Insider Insights.” Basically, Insights is a comparison tool. Let’s say a musher is between checkpoints, Insights lets you compare that musher to last year’s time, their historical best, and the best time, historically. Essentially, Insights gives you comparative data about any musher’s time between checkpoints.

Using Insights is easy.When the race begins, go the the CURRENT STANDINGS page under the 2012 RACE menu.  Look for the Insights icon in the right hand column. Give it a click, and see the Insight data instantly. So fast, so easy, so insightful.
