These shots were taken a few miles before Cripple of Kelly Maixner coming in. Right when Kelly pulled into the checkpoint Martin Buser left.
Kelly is in good spirits, despite his sled coming to the end of its lifespan, as he put it. His drag mat is absent, his tail dragger seat is hanging loose, the footboards are rattling. None of that seems to faze Kelly, as his dogs look good and were very lively when they came into the checkpoint.
