Martin greeted me with Sebastian you are making my day. Although us snowmachiners are not always welcome on the trail, specially in deep snow, in conditions like this, to have the dogs see a dot on the ice does help them focus. Martin has been a real good sport all race long with putting up with the camera in his face. Not all mushers are like that, some have been quite grumpy. Its a fine line of getting some exposure for the race and being in the way. So this is why you might see a bit more of Martin Buser, because he is very accommodating on the trail. His official time in is 17.31. So the two front teams are separated by 52 minutes. And that after all those miles and all those different strategies…..
