2 time Iditarod Champion Mitch Seavey pulls into Koyukuk with a great looking dog team. His son Dallas is a couple of hours behind him. Mitch arrived about 3 hours behind Jeff King and is now resting in dog yard. He has 13 dogs in his team. Exciting race folks! (by Tim Krause)

A mere mile after Mitch got off the river, he passed Sebastian on the road and was sound asleep on his seat. He has now declared his 8 hour mandatory layover here in Koyukuk.
