More teams in McGrath, Sorlie, Petit, Sass

It is a flurry of activity here in McGrath. Robert Sorlie quietly came into the checkpoint. At the same time, Nicolas Petit was packing his sled with more provisions behind the checkpoint. There is long term, meaning 24 hrs, parking here, short term parking meaning a normal 4 to 6 hr break and then there is super short term parking, for someone just wanting to grab stuff. Quite the logistics. Brent Sass had come through a few minutes prior. His dogs were very animated. ” It’s going great ” Brent proclaimed. He is living the dream again. Camping out and not staying in checkpoints seems to make Brent much happier. 

A tidbit about logistics. Each dropped dog is accompanied by 4 drop dog sheets. One sheet in the checkpoint at comms, one sheet stays with the vet at the checkpoint, one sheet goes to ITC headquarters and another sheet stays with the dog. That way the dog should be very well documented!
