Slow going on the trail to Cripple. Not much snow on quite a few stretches. Here are a few pictures of the next 2 teams to arrive in Cripple. 3rd in should be Robert Sorlie and shortly after John Baker. Both teams were moving really nicely. Matter of fact I had a hard time shaking them on this bumpy trail.

Here in the checkpoint Noah’s team was being checked out by the trail veterinarians, while Dallas’s team was already bedded down for their 24 hr. It is lightly snowing outside, which is a welcome sight. Any little snow will help this trail. It is amazing how different a trail looks in low snow conditions. I had no idea there were all these steep creek crossings. Some of them had overflow on it, others were glaciered a little bit.
