Made it to Nikolai. Right when I was about to leave Rainy, I overheard a fun exchange of words between Jessie Royer and Michelle Phillips. Michelle had mentioned that she had to load one of her dogs en route to Rainy Pass and that her zipper on the sled bag broke. ” I am hoping who ever is coming in behind me, picked up some of my stuff”.
The one behind her was Jessie Royer. After skillfully parking her team. She looked over at Michelle: ” Did you have a yard sale ? ” First thing Jessie pulled out of her sled bag was a nice fur hat. ” I thought at first that was a dead animal , then I saw more stuff strewn around. ” So piece by piece Michelle got her belongings back, which made her real happy. ” I was bummed out on my ride over here, as some of the stuff has quite the sentimental value.”
