Newton Marshall Scratches in Nikolai

NEWTON MARSHALL SCRATCHES AT NIKOLAI

 

Anchorage, Alaska – Thursday, March 7, 2013 – Veteran Iditarod Musher Newton Marshall (Bib #8) of St. Anne, JAMAICA scratched at Nikolai at 15:20. 

Newton arrived in Nikolai at 16:02 yesterday, March 6.  While traveling from Rohn to Nikolai, one dog, Mae, became separated from the team.  All efforts are being made by Iditarod Trail Committee to assist in locating Mae.
