The defending champion pulled out of Takotna at 11:35 Wednesday evening and headed for Ophir.
Mitch Seavey arrived 1st into McGrath winning the Spirit of Alaska award. He immediately took off for Takotna.
After some rest and some repair to his runners, Mitch Seavey heads for Rohn.
