David Tresino, 49, was born in New York. He came to Alaska in 1974, a sixteen year old looking for adventure. He is now retired from civil service work. He began mushing in 1976 and has run the Iditarod three times. David is married to Becky and they have one adult child, Tanya, 26. In his spare time, David enjoys fishng, huntig, camping, softball, golf and traveling.
