I had dreams of running the Iditarod since I got my first sled dogs. In 2012 I handled for Aaron Burmeister and returned home to get my qualifiers completed knowing I wanted to get back up to Alaska someday. After six years as an insurance agent I left to do sled dog tours so I could spend more time with my dogs and have time to train for the Iditarod. Last year I worked for Jessie Royer and thanks to her encouragement and help, am finally ready to run the Iditarod and fulfill a dream with my wonderful canine athletes!
