Will learned to mush in 2000 from Martin Buser. He has run mid-distance races like the Copper Basin 300 and the Northern Lights 300 while handling and learning from mushers across Alaska. In 2017 Will and his spouse Shawn moved to Fairbanks to start ATAO(ah-tay-oh) Kennel. Will and his team completed their first Iditarod in 2021.
