Bryce Mumford lives in Preston, Idaho, with his wife, Lindsay, and their son, Connor. They also have a daughter, Anna, who is married and attending Utah State University to become a veterinarian. Bryce works full time for the United States Postal Service delivering mail. During the summertime he enjoys trail running, completing a 50-mile and 100-mile trail race in 2024.

Bryce started mushing in 2011 and racing in 2014. His father Rex, was recruited to be his handler. His kids also began participating in junior races. After a few years his father decided he wanted to give mushing a try. It has become a hobby for the whole family. When Rex, Bruce and Anna ran the 100-mile Idaho Sled Dog Challenge together in 2022, they were dubbed the Mushing Mumfords.

Bryce would like to thank his parents, family and friends for supporting the adventure of Iditarod.
