Biography
As an outdoor person of curiosity, I have always been captured by the allure of “The Last Great Race on Earth”. Childhood sports, then marathon and triathlon racing combined with competitive family influences, have now set the stage for the privilege of entering the Iditarod.
Pursuing the spirit needed to honorably compete with others while enduring the struggles of the elements with dogs is what makes the Iditarod compelling for me. And observing that these sled dogs are the true athletes with boundless drive and skill, has been one of the great unexpected joys. I love America.
