Biography

Dane started mushing right after high school as a “gap year” before going to college. He never ended up going to college as he fell in love with dog mushing. After a couple seasons of mushing in the Upper Peninsula he found himself in Alaska and has pretty much been there ever since. For the last number of years he’s worked for Matthew and Liz Failor at Alaskan Husky Adventures. Dane has had the amazing opportunity to train and learn from Matthew on everything dog mushing. He will be running a puppy team out of the kennel.

Dane would like to thank the Failors for trusting him with the dogs and allowing him to compete in this year’s Iditarod.
