Aliy Zirkle  had completed her rest at Tripod Flats cabin. That place can be a peaceful spot. In this case, well, you know, she did not have it to herself. Those pesky Insider people were there. Plus Jessie Royer pulled in for company.

On the upside, as usual Tripod Cabin was out of the wind, and the temperatures were very pleasant. While it was minus 35F in Kaltag when I left, it was plus 5 F at Tripod. BIG difference. Plus there was a wood cutting maniac out there. Jeff ensured the cabin stays warm for everybody.
