Nome, Alaska – Sunday, March 11, 2012 – Rookie Iditarod musher Josh Cadzow (Bib# 55) of Fort Yukon, Alaska scratched in Kaltag at 16:45 Alaska Time. Cadzow made the decision to scratch because his team wasn’t enjoying the trip and therefore decided to end his Iditarod XL attempt in the best interest of his team. He had 9 dogs on his team when he made the decision.
