The 2026 Iditarod Summer Raffle drawing was held Monday, September 7, at 5:00 p.m. during the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, Alaska, awarding a total of $147,050 in cash prizes to 30 lucky raffle participants.
The prize lineup included twenty-seven $1,000 prizes, two $10,000 prizes, and a $100,050 grand prize.
Beyond the excitement of the drawing, the Iditarod Summer Raffle provides important financial support for the continued work of the Iditarod Trail Committee. Proceeds from the Iditarod’s Winter and Summer Raffles help support the preservation of the historic Iditarod Trail, the promotion of Alaska’s mushing heritage, and the ongoing effort required to stage The Last Great Race on Earth® each year.
Raffle proceeds directly support the many aspects of putting on the Iditarod, from race operations and transportation along the trail to supplies, food for volunteers, and the care and support of the race’s canine athletes.
The Iditarod Trail Committee congratulates all 30 Summer Raffle winners and extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported the Iditarod through this year’s raffle. Every ticket purchased helps ensure the race and its traditions continue for generations to come.
