Dee Dee Jonrowe pulled into a cheering crowd. She is the first woman to have made it to Huslia during Iditarod. Jodi Bailey is not far behind. Dee Dee was pretty exhausted and cold when she came in and immediately declared her 24 hr layover. It is very impressive to see that Dee Dee has kept her full string of 16 dogs all healthy into the halfway point of the race. That requires a lot of hard work. Considering how lightweight Dee Dee is, she might have a pretty quick run leaving from here.
