It is game day. Or better said warm up day. Running dogs for 3 miles. The event is mainly for the spectators and fans. People from all over the world are coming to visit and 85 ambitious ones were bidding to ride with their favorite musher as an Idita Rider. I am going to show a few teams as they get ready.
This is the team of Ketil Reitan getting ready. Ketil has last run the race in 1994. His Training is done out of remote Kaktovik and Two Rivers Fairbanks. This is his 5th Iditarod.
