Yentna Station is starting to get busy. Quite a bit of snow machine traffic here, airplanes landing and going.
Lisbet Norris came and went, she dropped one dog, and the veterinarians were immediately doing a full exam once the dog was at the drop chain.
Jessie Royer just stopped long enough to grab a bale of straw, Ketil Reitan came into the checkpoint with my big old leader Stevie in lead, and Stevie decided to take some detours on the way out. I pretended to not see that….
Nathan Schroder has pulled over to the long term parking, he seems to be wanting to take a little break. That might be a good move. Take a look at the one picture of the dog bootie below. Its quite chewed up. The trail trail is fast, but very hard. Hard on booties. So this might be a good time to ” change tires “, and give the dogs a breather.
Here some pictures, time to eat some Spaghetti….
