6.29 Aaron Burmeister first into Mc Grath

Real nice run over from Nikolai. The weather was nice for pictures, even Denali looming in the background over Nikolai. Just passed Aaron right before Mc Grath. Little ” Moss – Moss ” still in lead. He came and went at 6.29. Spirit of the North Award!

At the same time, Martin Buser is breathing down on Nikolai. Should get there around 9 p.m. Lets suspect he stays till 2 a.m. Than he leaves about 13.5 hrs after Aaron Burmeister. But has taken his 24 hr layover. That gives him a whopping 10.5 hr lead. Interesting! That is some serious time to make up. Looking at the weather forecast, there is a winter storm warning for the Yukon Valley, Shageluk, Anvik and onward. that will play a bit of havoc. Fun race unfolding!
