Not such cool timing for the internet to go out. Just came back from a trip on the Yukon River, where Sonny Lindner had passed Robert Sorlie. Quest Champion passes Iditarod Champion. And he shaved off 1 hour and 12 minutes of Robert Sorlie’s time. 4.54 to Galena, now that is moving…..
Sonny was sitting on his cooler seat, while Robert was standing up and ski-poling. Arriving into the checkpoint, Sonny just intended to stay (a) short (time), he was rooting through his food drop bag. His dogs looked very alert, ready to continue down the trail.. Enjoy the shots from the Yukon. It’s showing its nicest side, sunny, calm and beautiful.
