These messages may include race updates, musher standings, kennel news, event alerts, and promotional information regarding the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

2. User Opt-In
Users can opt-in to the service via our website forms, at event registration, or by texting a specific keyword to our long code or short code. Enrollment in this program is not a condition of any purchase.

3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the time of year. You can expect higher frequency during the month of March (the race period) and periodic updates throughout the off-season.

4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Please check your mobile plan or contact your wireless carrier for details. The Iditarod Trail Committee does not charge a fee for this service; however, your carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply.

5. Supported Carriers
The Iditarod Trail Committee is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service is available on most major US carriers, including (but not limited to) AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

6. Opt-Out (Stop)
To stop receiving text messages from the Iditarod Trail Committee, text STOP to at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you re-enroll.
