Another Veteran Musher, Aaron Peck, enters the 2023 Iditarod

 

The ITC is happy to welcome back Veteran Musher, Aaron Peck to the upcoming Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Aaron is from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada and has competed in The Iditarod 9 times between 2000 and 2022, finishing 7 times, with a Top 10 finish in 2022. In 2019 he was the recipient of the Northern Air Cargo’s Herbie Nayokpuk Award which is given to the individual chosen by the checkers in the checkpoints who best epitomizes Herbie Nayokpuk’s spirit of mushing the Iditarod.

The Iditarod Trail Committee looks forward to welcoming more veteran and rookie mushers to compete in the 51st version of The Last Great Race on Earth®. All mushers that apply to compete in the Iditarod must first go through the qualifying review board before their entry is officially accepted for the Race.
