I was invited to go out to Safety this afternoon by Stan Hooley. I got to drive my very own snowmachine, it was awesome.
I have made it to Nome. I took a walk and saw the famous Burled Arch. Can’t wait for the finish.
Just arrived in Kaltag. Getting all set up in the school. Waiting for the first musher to arrive in about 4 hours. Check out my ride from the airstrip.
I just landed in Huslia with Stu Nelson, chief vet. One of the local teachers took me on a tour and hooked me up in the school. Looking forward to wandering around and meeting villagers.
Waiting in Galena for a flight out. Lots of howling dogs this morning. -30 degrees Fahrenheit. Follow the GPS tracker to see where I end up.
